Welcome to Maplefields Teaching School AllianceA very warm welcome to the Maplefields Teaching School Alliance based here at Maplefields Academy in Corby. Whilst designated to become a National Teaching School in 2014 we have a long history of providing school to school support, running courses to support continuing professional development, supporting Initial Teacher Training and providing health checks and consultancy through school improvement work both within Northamptonshire and beyond. Together we are committed to achieve this in the following areas; supporting teacher training, school to school support, continuing professional development and training, research and development. We are committed in sharing our SEN skills and knowledge with mainstream and special school colleagues to ensure all pupils within our alliance are given the best opportunities and most skilled staff in order to achieve highly successful outcomes. Our strategic partners are: Kingsley Academy, Isebrook SEN Cognition and Learning College, Wren Spinney Community Special School , Friars Academy, Pen Green Centre for Children and Families, Woodnewton Learning Community and Hall Meadow Primary School.
